Aedvices

Moirans, France – March 2, 2026 – Amid structural tension regarding integrated circuit (IC) verification skills, Aedvices announces the opening of a subsidiary in Sweden. Driven by sustained momentum and a projected revenue of €2.6 million for 2025, the Isère-based company specializing in electronic circuit design and verification continues its international expansion following its initial establishment in Brazil. This strategic choice aims to capture rare European engineering skills, confirming Aedvices’ agility in a highly constrained global semiconductor market.

A strategic response to the engineering shortage

Facing a structural shortage of expert engineers in France, where recruitment remains challenging despite numerous open positions, Aedvices has opted for the mobility of skills. Sweden was targeted for the excellence of its technical universities and the richness of its microelectronics ecosystem.

Chip verification expertise is a critical and scarce resource. To continue serving our clients with the same level of excellence, we must go where the talent is,” explains François Cerisier, CEO of Aedvices.

This new entity will adopt a cross-sector approach, covering the needs of the telecommunications, automotive, and industrial sectors.

European deployment at the heart of technological challenges

This opening marks an acceleration of Aedvices’ European strategy. In a context defined by the European Chips Act and the drive to reshore technological value in Europe, this presence in Sweden enables the company to deploy its engineers more seamlessly on critical continental projects.

The Swedish entity will offer the complete Aedvices portfolio: IC design and verification expertise, advanced methodologies, and specialized training in SystemVerilog and UVM, complemented by a new offering dedicated to Artificial Intelligence applied to verification. The company relies on an in-house design center capable of managing full-cycle projects, from writing specifications to final design verification. This organizational structure ensures technical and methodological continuity, going well beyond a simple consultant staffing model.

Having an integrated design center allows us to support our clients from specification to final design validation. This complete mastery of the development cycle is a strategic asset in a context of high tension regarding skills in Europe,” states François Cerisier.

Expert leadership for ambitious goals

The management of this subsidiary has been entrusted to Eric Hargous. With 25 years of verification experience within large international groups, he brings valuable expertise in managing multicultural teams and developing profit centers.

The entity is launching with a core team that is already operational and has set clear growth targets: 5 hires in the first year, aiming to reach 10 employees the following year.

François Cerisier, Founder and CEO of Aedvices:

This opening is a logical continuation of Aedvices’ international expansion. It is an essential lever to support our commercial growth and recruitment needs, while positioning us closer to the projects that are building European technological sovereignty.”
